How we work

The process to getting your new epoxy flooring is easy

Consultation

With every floor, we offer a sample board once we have discussed your desired look and the overall finish you would like to achieve. We will work with you to help bring your vision to life and to create your custom designed floor.

Installation

Preparation is key for optimal results. Epoxy Resin Floors North West will fully prepare your floor, ensuring a smooth, even and clean surface suitable for installing your brand new resin floor. We will take care of everything right through to adding the final protective clear coat.

The Process

The existing floor is fully prepped and cleaned of any debris or a new screed installed first if this is required. Any cracks are filled in and any uneven areas levelled to ensure a fully smooth surface to work on.

Application of basecoat for better adhesion and to obtain optimal results from the topcoat. Design time, your floor is now ready for the colour coat. This is when we begin to install the design we worked together on in our consultation. This is where we transform your space with your stunning new epoxy resin floor in the colour and style of your choice!

Finally, the application of our clear protective top coat, with your preferred finish, whether that be a glass, mirror like finish, a mid-sheen finish or a matt finish. The clear coat will provide more durability and longevity providing floors are properly cleaned and maintained.

Aftercare

Resin floors are exceptionally durable and long-lasting but like any floor they need to be looked after and properly cleaned. Like all floors they will eventually show signs of wear and tear.

The beauty of epoxy resin floors though is that they can be easily restored and brought back to life after years of use. Imperfections can be sanded out and the floors can be polished to give that brand new feeling. Or, if you are simply feeling like a change in design or colour, we can drop in a new floor of your choice on top of the existing, with little prep required.
